Megan Makeever

Megan Makeever is a singer/songwriter from Bozeman, Montana. Because she grew up in a musical family, it was inevitable that she pursued music at a young age. Her love for singing developed before she can even remember. Then, at 5-years-old she began piano lessons and later picked up the flute and guitar. This Spring Megan will finish up her flute performance major paired with a specialized vocal song-writing curriculum at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

Although she loves playing her flute, her true passions lie in writing songs (for piano, guitar, voice, strings, etc.) and sharing them with others. In 2008, at the young age of 18-years-old, she released her first album, “Movin’ On.” Megan recorded her CD through a scholarship awarded to her from Hand Me Down Some Silver, a non-profit organization which sponsors young Montana musicians. Only two years later, after much musical growth and inspiration, she released her second album, “Unstoppable” (2010). Listen to Megan, Online Here.

Megan’s songs cover many personal themes such as unrequited love, gratefulness, self-confidence, and body image. She writes from experience and harbors a great desire to emotionally relate to humanity through her music.

This driven singer/songwriter truly is unstoppable, for her unfailing motivation to reach the hearts of many continues to direct her. She wishes to make a meaningful impact on her audience as she dares them to dig deep within themselves and truly “feel” something.
